What remains when the world as we know it suddenly ends? We invite you to an artist-led tour of the exhibition .
Based in Sweden, the artistic duo Cooper & Gorfer consists of American Sarah Cooper and Austrian Nina Gorfer. Their work is a multi-layered narrative about identity, memory, and the human experience. Through their groundbreaking approach to portraiture, they blend photography with painting, textiles, collage, and video.
During the tour, the artists will discuss the ‘Utopia’ project. Its starting point is the stories of eleven women whose lives have been shaped by migration, displacement, and complex personal experiences. Hailing from countries such as Nigeria, Libya, and Iraq, these women became the subjects of monumental yet intimate portraits, building a story about utopia—understood here as an act of imagination.
The tour will be conducted in English 🇬🇧
